Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that Joe Alonzo has joined Squire Patton Boggs as partner in the global Litigation Practice, based in New York. Mr. Alonzo arrives from DLA Piper.

Mr. Alonzo focuses his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, professional liability, and regulatory compliance. He is an experienced civil litigator with substantial experience handling all phases of high-profile, high-stakes matters before federal and state courts; in local, state, and federal administrative proceedings; and in arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Mr. Alonzo also has significant experience advising clients on issues relating to and handling cases brought pursuant to the Alien Tort Statute, and has been a key member of trial teams defending a financial institution against claims under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
