Joshua Ratner Joins Goodwin’s Global Private Equity Platform as Partner

Global law firm Goodwin announced today the addition of Joshua Ratner as partner in the firm’s Private Equity practice, resident in the New York office. Prior to joining Goodwin, he served as managing director and general counsel at York Capital Management, where he was responsible for all business and legal affairs for the firm’s private equity platform.

Ratner focuses on leveraged buyouts, dispositions, joint ventures, growth equity investments, and other equity and debt financings. He has extensive experience advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of transactions.  Ratner also served on the board of directors of each of the firm’s portfolio companies and managed each investment from inception to exit.
