Littler Adds Accomplished Litigator Gary Glaser to Long Island Roster

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, today announced the addition of Shareholder Gary Glaser to its Long Island office. He was previously a partner at Seyfarth Shaw in New York.

Glaser’s arrival is indicative of Littler’s growth in the region. Last year, the firm’s Long Island office added several attorneys, including Shareholders Marc Abbott and Mark Reiss.

“Gary is an outstanding lawyer with a strong reputation and broad experience in the labor and employment space,” said John Bauer, office managing shareholder of the Long Island office. “We are very excited to expand the growing capabilities of the Long Island office and welcome Gary to the firm.”

With more than 25 years of experience in labor and employment advice and litigation, Glaser covers a diverse range of matters, including labor-management relations; wage and hour work; discrimination and harassment; and hiring, performance management and termination. His client roster encompasses many industries, including financial services, retail and staffing.

Glaser is well known for his successes in arbitration, mediation, trials and appeals before federal and state courts and agencies. He also has substantial experience training clients on compliance, corporate reorganizations, noncompetes and trade secrets. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.

“I am thrilled to join Littler, the foremost labor and employment law firm,” said Glaser. “Littler’s global presence and reputation for innovation attracted me to the firm, and I look forward to working alongside my colleagues in the Long Island office to further the firm’s reach both regionally and nationally.”

Involved in the community, Glaser serves as a board member for Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and the League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers. In 2011, he received the inaugural “Service to Off-Broadway” Lucille Lortel Award. Glaser is also a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. He frequently speaks to both legal and theater and arts organizations on timely legal matters.

Glaser earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. from Brandeis University.
