Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has welcomed Shareholder Eli Freedberg and Associate Daniella Adler to its New York office.
“We are excited to add Eli and Daniella to our thriving New York office,” said Office Managing Shareholder Bruce Millman. “Eli is a top-rated attorney who has built a solid reputation in the labor and employment law profession and Daniella has begun to establish herself as a bright, young lawyer. Their experiences and skillsets will greatly contribute to the depth of our regional and national presences.”
Admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut, Freedberg focuses his practice on defending wage and hour class actions, particularly in the hospitality industry. He also has significant experience defending clients in cases involving various discrimination claims in federal and state courts. In addition, Freedberg counsels clients on wage and hour compliance issues, restrictive covenants, independent contractor status, the hiring process and on privacy, blogging and surveillance issues in the workplace. He also negotiates and drafts employment and separation agreements.
“Littler leads the way in delivering labor and employment solutions, and I am delighted to join its team of lawyers,” said Freedberg. “The New York office has a strong position in this market and I look forward to helping amplify its footprint throughout the tri-state area and nationally.”
Prior to joining Littler, Freedberg most recently conducted his own practice for two years, after working with two other law firms. He received his law degree from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Adler practices labor and employment law and joins the firm from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from Queens College, City University of New York.
