William “Bill” Primps, a highly-experienced litigator, has joined Locke Lord as a Partner in the Firm’s New York office. Primps’ presence adds significant experience and knowledge to the Firm’s global Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group.
“Bill’s arrival is an important addition in our continued efforts to grow and strengthen our insurance and reinsurance capabilities,” said Nick J. DiGiovanni, Chair of the Insurance & Reinsurance Disputes, Coverage & Counseling Practice. “He has a proven track record representing many large insurance and reinsurance companies and is well-respected in this field. We are pleased and fortunate to have him on our team.”
Primps has 40 years of experience counseling international businesses on their compliance with U.S. law. He focuses his practice on antitrust, energy, insurance and regulated industries and has represented major financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from Yale University.
