Lillian Kim, a seasoned mergers and acquisitions lawyer with extensive experience acting for public company clients—particularly in the technology and life sciences industries—has joined Pillsbury as a partner in New York. Kim arrives at Pillsbury from Goodwin Procter LLP in New York.

Kim advises public companies, boards of directors and special committees, as well as private equity firms in a variety of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and other significant corporate matters, with an emphasis on technology and life sciences clients. Her many notable transactions include acting as lead or co-lead attorney on Mimecast Limited’s $5.8 billion sale to Permira; Slack Technologies’ $27.7 billion sale to Salesforce; and Trillium Therapeutics’ $2.3 billion sale to Pfizer. Kim also advises clients on corporate governance and securities law disclosure and compliance.
Beyond her noteworthy legal practice, Kim is passionate about mentoring and promoting diverse attorneys in the legal profession. She was selected to participate in the prestigious Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program in 2022.
