Mayer Brown announced today that fund finance lawyer Cassandra Best joined the Banking & Finance practice as a partner in New York. Ms. Best joins from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.

Ms. Best focuses her practice in fund finance. Her clients include banks and financial institutions as lenders, who she counsels in the structuring, negotiating and documenting subscription credit facilities for private equity funds. Ms. Best also served as in-house counsel for a global financial institution focusing on mergers and acquisitions and internal reorganizations and restructurings.
