International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Paul Ferrillo has joined the Firm as a partner in the Litigation Practice Group based in New York City. Prior to joining McDermott, Paul was a partner at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

He is well-suited to drive critical client needs across a span of industries and we are thrilled Paul is joining us to grow this practice nationally,” said David Rosenbloom, global head of McDermott’s Litigation Practice Group.
Paul helps clients navigate corporate governance issues, complex securities and business litigation and internal investigations with a particular focus on shareholder litigation cases involving the defense of companies, directors and officers in cases alleging accounting and financial fraud. His practice spans a wide range of industries, including apparel, energy, financial services, hedge funds, investment banking, private equity, oil and gas and real estate. He also has extensive experience with cybersecurity and data breaches, and has assisted clients with related governance, disclosure and regulatory matters arising out of them.

He previously served as vice president and general counsel at AIG, where he was head of the Directors and Officers panel.
Paul holds a JD from St. John’s University School of Law and a BA from St. John’s University College of Business Administration.
