Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, welcomes Sandi Dubin to the firm’s New York office as shareholder. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Sandi served as in-house labor and employment counsel for New York University (NYU) for 10 years. As lead labor counsel for NYU, she has advised on all types of labor relations matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) covering multiple bargaining units, and has served as chief negotiator for NYU in collective bargaining. In addition to her experience as a chief negotiator, Sandi has represented the University in labor arbitrations and matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Sandi’s practice also includes handling novel, complex, and anticipated labor and employment legal matters. Sandi regularly provides advice and counsel on a myriad of labor and employment-related issues, including hiring, discipline, and termination, grievances, performance management, leaves of absence, disability and reasonable accommodations, discrimination and harassment complaints and investigations, reductions in force, wage and hour compliance, and workplace safety.
In addition to Sandi’s role as advisor and counselor, she has substantial litigation experience regarding matters of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour class actions as well as administrative agency charges and complaints.

Sandi earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, and her B.A, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
