Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by Wells Fargo Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co, LLC and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in connection with the initial public offering of Neuberger Berman MLP Income Fund Inc. (the “Fund”). The offering raised approximately $1.1 billion, assuming full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares.

Former Federal Prosecutor Andrew Fish Joins Locke Lord LLP as New York Partner in White Collar/Internal Investigations Practice

Longtime Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Fish has joined international law firm Locke Lord’s New York office as a Partner in its nationwide White Collar/Internal Investigations Practice. Fish has served with the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York for 14 years, most recently as deputy chief of the appeals unit and previously with the securities and commodities fraud task force and the major crimes unit. Chadbourne & Parke commenced a case under Chapter 15 of the United States Bankruptcy Code for Chartis Excess Ltd., a subsidiary of AIG. Chartis Excess is requesting an order granting recognition to court proceedings before the High Court of Ireland and enforcing a scheme of arrangement sanctioned by the Irish High Court. The Firm recently represented Pinnacle Foods Inc. (“Pinnacle Foods”), a portfolio company of The Blackstone Group, L.P., in connection with its initial public offering of common stock. The offering of 33,350,000 shares of common stock, which included the underwriters’ option to purchase 4,350,000 additional shares, raised approximately $667 million in gross proceeds. The shares of Pinnacle Foods are now listed on The New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “PF.”
