Huhnsik represents clients in a wide range of regulatory and transactional matters, while also resolving complex disputes that arise in the insurance industry. He advises on insurance-related matters involving formations and capitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio transfers, insurance-linked securities, investments, commutation agreements, and restructurings and receiverships. Huhnsik also advises on risk mitigation and exposures arising from transactions and investments, global licensing issues, tax matters, and representations and warranties policies on both the buy and sell side. In his dispute resolution practice, Huhnsik has served as lead counsel in more than 70 insurance, reinsurance, and commercial proceedings. Huhnsik joins ArentFox Schiff from Carlton Fields, PC, where he was a shareholder and served as co-chair of the firm’s Fintech and P&C Insurance Regulatory and Transactional Practice and the Blockchain and Digital Currency Practice.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has hired a group of 19 Intellectual Property (IP) & Technology Practice attorneys and patent agents, more than half of whom will be in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, which first opened less than three years ago. New Shareholders Bryan K. Hanks and Jonathan R. Lee, both registered patent attorneys with electrical engineering backgrounds, will spend time in the firm’s Salt Lake City and Phoenix offices. Eleven of the attorneys on the team will be based in Salt Lake City, nearly doubling the number of attorneys in that office.
