Patent Litigation Partner Merri Moken Joins Holland & Knight

Patent litigator Merri Moken has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in its New York office. Ms. Moken’s practice focuses on patent litigation and counseling with an emphasis in the chemical, pharmaceutical, mechanical and electrical arts. Most recently, she was a partner with Kenyon & Kenyon.

Ms. Moken represents both plaintiffs and defendants with respect to patent infringement, invalidity and unenforceability, as well as trade secret misappropriation and contract-related matters. She also represents internationally based clients and has served as counsel for both domestic and international proceedings. She has practiced before federal district and appellate courts and the International Trade Commission.

“Merri brings litigation and counseling experience in a variety of technical fields for clients big and small. She is a great addition to our expanding IP team both in the New York office and throughout the firm,” said Joshua Krumholz, the leader of Holland & Knight’s Intellectual Property Group.

Ms. Moken received a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and an A.B. degree in chemistry from Princeton University.
