Paul Hastings LLP announced today that Joshua A. Berman, a highly regarded trial lawyer who focuses on complex commercial litigation, has joined the firm as a partner in New York. Berman arrives from the New York office of White & Case LLP.

Berman comes to the firm with more than 20 years of experience securing victories for clients in their most complex, bet-the-company matters. He regularly represents Fortune 500 companies in diverse industries, including micro-electronics and semiconductors, data measurement and analytics, automotive supply, real estate, and metals and mining.

Berman also maintains an active practice representing hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks, and other financial institutions in matters ranging from broken deal disputes to post-closing M&A litigation, to private credit enforcement. His cases span legal subject matters, and include contract disputes, antitrust cases, IP matters, and false advertising claims.
