Paul Hastings LLP announced today that leading commercial and securities litigator Jennifer Conn, who has represented some of the world’s largest businesses in bet-the-company litigation, has joined the firm as a partner. She will co-chair the firm’s securities litigation practice. Joining from Gibson Dunn, Conn is this year’s second lateral litigator in New York, following the addition of Joshua Berman from White & Case earlier this week.
“Jennifer is a stellar commercial and securities litigator called on to represent companies, banks and asset managers in their most important and sophisticated matters. We believe Jennifer’s addition continues our strategy to retain and attract premier talent in order to serve our clients with distinguished intellectual capital and superior execution,” said Paul Hastings Chair Frank Lopez.
Conn’s diverse complex commercial litigation practice focuses on matters with an emphasis on securities, financial services, and accounting.
“Although I have spent almost my entire career at one law firm, the opportunity to join Paul Hastings and play a role in the firm’s impressive growth and momentum is incredibly exciting,” said Conn, who also is a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, where she lectures on securities litigation.
The firm continues growth throughout its core litigation practices, including complex litigation, securities litigation, financial services investigation and regulation, intellectual property litigation, and investigations and white collar defense.
