Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes Shareholders Jason S. Samuels and Aaron E. Zerykier as members of the firm’s national Construction Practice and Real Estate and Financial Services Department. The duo are the first Construction Practice attorneys located in Polsinelli’s New York office. The pair join from Farrell Fritz, P.C.
Samuels and Zerykier bring decades of combined construction law experience to Polsinelli, as well as additional concentration in dispute resolution and contract negotiations. They counsel clients on construction-related disputes through arbitration and in federal and state courts.

Jason S. Samuels
Samuels focuses his practice on dispute resolution and contract negotiation. He represents contractors, owners and developers in all aspects of public and private construction and development, including negotiation of large-scale new construction and renovation project agreements. He has successfully prosecuted and defended numerous claims on behalf of clients in various New York federal and state courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution venues.
Samuels has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® for Litigation—Construction since 2017 and New York Metro Super Lawyers, Construction Litigation since 2016. Other accomplishments include his selection to Super Lawyers’ Rising Star in 2012, Long Island Business News’ 40 Under 40 recognition in 2012 and Long Island Business News’ Who’s Who in Commercial & Real Estate Law list in 2011.
Samuels maintains memberships with the Subcontractors Trade Association (STA), Construction Lawyers of Society of America and Nassau County Bar Association. Samuels earned his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Albany, and continued his education by obtaining a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.

Aaron E. Zerykier
Zerykier counsels clients on construction-related disputes through arbitration and in federal and state trial courts. He represents a wide range of clients in all construction industry sectors, including real estate developers, subcontractors and owners. He also represents various clients in business divorce cases involving disputes among co-owners of closely held business entities.
Zerykier has been recognized in New York Metro Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, Business Litigation from 2013 – 2017. He was also the recipient of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Access to Justice Champion Award and Fordham University School of Law’s Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award in 2001.
Zerykier is a member of the Construction Lawyers of Society of America and the New York State Bar Association. Zerykier earned his bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University, and obtained his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
