Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes health care attorney Paul D. Squire as Shareholder in the firm’s New York City office. Squire joins Polsinelli’s national Health Care Alignment and Organizations Practice, bringing over 30 years of experience in health care law. Squire joins the firm from Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP.
Squire represents health care provider entities in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate financings and other transactions, as well as insurance regulatory, Medicare, Medicaid and managed care issues. He focuses his practice on matters including transactional, compliance, contractual, corporate, regulatory, governance and health care information technology issues.
“Paul is a seasoned leading health care lawyer who brings a depth of health care legal experience in managing highly complex issues, which our clients face every day,” said Polsinelli Health Care Alignment and Organizations Practice Chair Jane E. Arnold. “Having spent time on the general counsel side as well, Paul relates to clients in so many ways and brings invaluable client service, which fits the Polsinelli mold so well. Squire has advised clients on health care information technology, telemedicine and telehealth issues. He brings a unique perspective to the Polsinelli team and clients, having spent four years as general counsel for the largest telemedicine company in the nation. He also served as associate general counsel at the largest managed care company in the United States. Squire represents a wide range of entities, including group medical practices, ambulatory surgery centers, birthing centers, diagnostic and treatment centers, health care information technology companies, telemedicine and telehealth providers and MSOs and managed care companies.

Squire was recently selected for inclusion among The Best Lawyers in America® for Health Care Law (2019-2021). He obtained a B.A., cum laude, from Haverford College before earning a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
