Seth Bonneau joins DLA Piper’s Finance Practice in Boston

DLA Piper announced today that Seth Bonneau has joined the firm’s Finance practice as a partner in the Boston office. Bonneau joins the firm from Morrison Foerster.

Bonneau represents a wide array of senior and subordinated lenders, including community, regional, national and international banks, mezzanine debt funds, and private equity funds, in connection with single- and multi-lender transactions involving asset-based and cash flow facilities, cross-border financings, acquisition and general working capital facilities, and recapitalizations.

“Seth’s experience handling sophisticated transactions, including cross-border financings, will enhance the firm’s capabilities in the United States, particularly on the East Coast, and around the world,” said John Cusack, global co-chair and US chair of DLA Piper’s Finance practice. “Seth’s skillset in the private equity sponsor space also aligns well with our priorities and will be a natural fit for our team.”

Bonneau is the latest partner to join the Finance practice, which has also recently welcomed partners Jasmine Zacharias in Miami, John Reiss in New York, Evelyn Kim in San Francisco and Mary Dunbar in Washington, DC.

“Seth is an important addition to our Finance practice on the East Coast, and our broad geographic and practice area platform will be highly advantageous to his clients,” said John Rattigan, managing partner of the firm’s Boston office. “We are pleased to welcome him on board.”

Bonneau received his J.D. from Suffolk Law School and his B.S. from the University of Vermont.
