Smith Gambrell Russell LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the addition of Partner Patrick R. Tierney to the firm’s Real Estate Law Practice in New York. Mr. Tierney joins SGR from Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. where he practiced real estate law as a member of the Transactional Department.
As a partner in the SGR Real Estate Department, Mr. Tierney helps real estate developers, investors, owners, lenders, and tenants structure, negotiate, and close complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, development and ground leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, 1031 exchanges, commercial leasing, financing, and other commercial real estate transactions. He has more than 16 years of legal experience across all commercial asset types in New York and throughout the United States.

Mr. Tierney received a bachelor’s degree, in Management with high distinction, from George Mason University and earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law. He also attended the University of Oxford for their Honors Program.
