Mark Yopp has joined Baker McKenzie’s North America Tax Practice as a partner, adding to the Firm’s experience in state and local tax including tax controversy, multistate planning and multistate legislative monitoring and analysis. Based in New York, Mark joins the Firm from McDermott, Will & Emery LLP, where he was a partner advising on matters related to income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, and withholding requirements.
Yopp has also assisted clients in identifying and addressing the state and local tax implications of new and emerging technologies, including digital goods and services, cloud computing, electronic commerce and digital marketplaces.

Mark received his BA from Wake Forest University and his JD from Emory University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York.
