Fox Rothschild LLP welcomes John D. Dadakis in New York as a partner in the Taxation & Wealth Planning Department. Prior to joining Fox, Dadakis was a partner at Holland & Knight.
“John has decades of experience creating and implementing sophisticated wealth preservation plans for high-net-worth individuals, families and closely held businesses,” said Janet M. MacLeod, Ph.D., the managing partner of Fox’s New York office. “He is a valuable addition to our team and we welcome him to the firm.”
Dadakis is a strategic ally to an elite national client base, serving as “personal general counsel” to executives of Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs in private business as well as managing directors and investors in hedge and private equity funds. Dadakis assists in the development and implementation of wealth preservation strategies, with a particular depth of experience in the use of family mission statements and family constitutions. He works with clients to achieve their asset protection goals while guiding them through the complexities that arise during legacy planning.
“I am excited to join Fox Rothschild’s team with its middle market and family business focus,” said Dadakis. “Over my career I have recognized the multi-disciplinary needs of those businesses and Fox has a perfect platform to assist them. I also am especially pleased to be able to work with Fox’s West Palm Beach office as more and more Private Equity and Hedge Fund principals migrate there.”
Dadakis is a member and former President of the Attorneys for Family-Held Enterprises Family Firm Institute and serves on the Board of the New York City Family Enterprise Center. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
