Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that three prominent renewable energy lawyers, Eric Pogue, Amanda Rosenberg and Samantha Leavitt, have joined the Firm as partners. Eric Pogue and Samantha Leavitt are based in New York, and Amanda Rosenberg is based in Los Angeles. They were previously partners at Mayer Brown.
Eric will serve as Global Chair of Power & Renewable Energy. He has more than two decades of experience in the energy sector and is widely recognized as one of the top practitioners for renewable energy development and finance transactions, including tax equity investments. Amanda is a preeminent energy tax lawyer, advising clients on monetization of tax assets through a variety of innovative structures. Samantha is an energy transactional lawyer with significant experience in the development and financing of renewable energy projects.

Amanda focuses on the development and financing of renewable energy projects, with an emphasis on tax aspects of energy finance deals, energy tax credits, government incentive programs, energy M&A and domestic and international project finance transactions. Amanda regularly represents sponsors, investors, buyers and sellers and lenders in project finance transactions. She is a Chambers USA and Global-ranked attorney for Projects: Renewables and Alternative Energy.
Samantha advises financial institutions, corporate investors, project sponsors and developers on renewable and clean energy project development and financing matters, including acquisition financings, debt financing, tax equity investments, back-leverage financings, and other types of secured and unsecured financings.
