Holland & Knight Adds Corporate Lawyer Brent Singley

Corporate transactional lawyer Brent Singley has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the firm’s Tysons, Virginia, office. Mr. Singley focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he was a partner at Hogan Lovells.

Mr. Singley advises on auctions, joint ventures, private equity and other strategic transactions. He helps clients navigate public and private acquisitions and divestitures, domestic and international transactions, corporate reorganizations, investments and financing. He has managed deals in industries that include government services, technology, healthcare, senior living, automotive, energy and aerospace. Before practicing law, Mr. Singley was a certified public accountant at Deloitte & Touche, where he provided audit services to a variety of clients, including real estate partnerships and government service providers.

“Brent has more than 20 years of transactional corporate experience spanning multiple industries,” said Adam August, the leader of Holland & Knight’s Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group for the Mid-Atlantic Region. “His industry contacts and deal experience will position the firm to win high-profile transactional work and to continue to grow the corporate practice in Northern Virginia and nationally.”

Mr. Singley received a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BBA degree in accounting from the College of William & Mary.
