Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Jason Lee as a partner in the corporate practice. He joins K&L Gates’ Orange County office from Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.
Lee focuses his practice on corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, as well as general corporate matters. This includes advising public and private clients in the middle-market and emerging growth sectors on company formation, SEC reporting requirements and registrations, federal and state securities laws and compliance, corporate governance matters, joint ventures, and executive employment agreements.
Lee’s arrival follows the earlier additions of corporate partners Courtney Thomas (Raleigh), Yoanna Stefanova (Luxembourg), and Josh Berick (New York) during the past year. They are among the more than 125 partners and of counsel the firm has welcomed across its platform since the beginning of 2020.
“We are excited that Jason has joined the firm in Orange County,” said Michael Hedge, managing partner of K&L Gates’ Orange County office. “His addition to our already strong corporate practice in Orange County is another key step in building a first in class practice for middle market enterprises in Southern California.”
K&L Gates’ corporate practice is one of the most substantial in the legal industry, with more than 500 lawyers in offices on five continents assisting clients in the structuring, financing, and completion of domestic, international, and cross-border transactions. The group serves as counsel to a broad array of Global 500, Fortune 100, FTSE 100 corporations, privately held and venture-backed companies, partnerships, private equity firms, other investment funds, management groups, and entrepreneurs.
