The Orange County office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added J. David Bournazian as a partner in its complex commercial litigation and disputes practice. Bournazian joins K&L Gates from Kutak Rock LLP.
Bournazian represents national and international clients on complex litigation disputes and business transactions with a focus on construction, real estate, and employment matters. He has extensive experience advising on construction projects involving airport expansions, retail developments, sports areas, bridges and highways, university and government buildings, power plants, and hospitals. In addition, Bournazian represents clients in consumer product class action litigation and regulatory matters involving state and federal environmental requirements, product safety issues, and chemical management. He also assists clients with Americans with Disability Act accessibility, False Claims Act allegations, and insurance claims.
Bournazian has also served as general counsel for architecture firm Frank Gehry and Gehry Partners, LLP, as well as principal outside counsel for an international retail and lifestyle company.
