Dentons Welcomes Nicholas George to Strengthen its Sovereign, Energy and Infrastructure Practices in Paris

Paris-Global law firm Dentons has strengthened its Sovereign practice and its Energy and Infrastructure group with the arrival of Nicholas George as a partner in Paris. Prior to joining Dentons, Nicholas George was a partner in Orrick’s Energy and Infrastructure group and prior to that, he practiced for many years at Hogan Lovells in London and Paris. He is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales and a member of the Paris Bar.

Nicholas George has 25 years’ experience in international project development and finance, PPP and cross-border M&A transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has significant experience in emerging markets, with a particular focus on French and English-speaking Africa.

His clients include government entities, industrial groups, financial institutions and infrastructure investment funds. For example, he recently acted on the Inga 3 hydroelectric project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and on a $500 million 144A/Regulation S bond issue for Millicom International Cellular S.A.
