DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has appointed two new Partners, Bruno Richard and Mike Renshaw to its Real Estate and Insurance sectors respectively. Bruno joins from Eversheds where his expertise in construction and administrative law saw him assist clients on transactional and litigation matters as well as assist the African practice. Renshaw arrives from Keoghs where he was a Partner and headed up their Southampton office.
Mike Renshaw joins DWF’s Southampton office strengthening the global major injury and casualty insurance practice.
He brings over 20 years experience in defendant insurance litigation for insurers and their individual and corporate policyholders and has handled Motor, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims of all values including those of the highest severity relating to brain or spinal injury, paralyisis, and amputation.
Mike has also handled a number of periodic payment cases, and has a wealth of experience drafting, checking and calculating Periodical Payment Orders (PPO’s).
Mike is a regular speaker across a range of topics relating to catastrophic claims including life expectancy, multipliers, care costs and periodical payments.
Bruno Richards also joins DWF in Paris as part of the Global Real Estate team led by Toby Askin.
He advises public and private sector companies, services providers, major construction companies as well as financial institutions, in both France and worldwide, in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors as well as assisting clients on a wide range of public procurement issues and in connection with construction of works, public buildings or infrastructure and other networks.
Bruno has been a lawyer at the Paris Bar since 1995 and prior to joining Eversheds, he worked for law firms Orrick Rambaud Martel and Fasken Martineau.
