The global law firm Jones Day announces that Fabienne Beuzit will join the Firm’s Paris Office as a partner in its Business Restructuring & Reorganization Practice, accompanied by counsel Elodie Fabre and associate Rodolphe Carrière.
Ms. Beuzit’s nearly 20 years of experience has focused primarily on bankruptcy proceedings, court and out-of-court restructurings, and distressed M&A matters. She has represented debtors, lenders, shareholders, and investors in numerous restructuring situations, in France and internationally.
Ms. Beuzit has worked on numerous high-profile insolvency and reorganization cases in France, and has advised on major leveraged buyout (LBO) debt restructuring cases. She has extensive experience representing parties in prepackaged chapter 11 cases and has served as investors’ counsel on a broad range of asset deals (in or out of court).

Ms. Beuzit is an active member of several professional organizations, including INSOL and the Association pour le Retournement de l’Entreprise (French Turnaround Association). She teaches restructuring at HEC-Paris Business School.
Ms. Fabre and Mr. Carrière have extensive experience (thirteen and seven years, respectively) advising debtors, investors, shareholders, insolvency practitioners, and creditors across a broad range of international and domestic restructuring and insolvency matters. Both have been involved in a number of significant LBO debt restructurings, insolvency proceedings, and distressed M&A transactions involving a wide range of sectors. Ms. Fabre has specific experience in handling major insolvency proceedings due to its previous experience by an insolvency practitioner. She also manages litigation concerning distressed and insolvency matters.
