Kramer Levin Expands Real Estate, Corporate and Tax Practices in France with Acquisition of Seven-lawyer Team, Including Pierre Appremont and Arnaud Guérin

Kramer Levin is strengthening its Real Estate, Corporate and Tax practices in France with the recruitment of Pierre Appremont and Arnaud Guérin, partners from Gowling WLG, as well as their teams (three counsels, two associates and three law clerks).

Pierre Appremont is a real estate tax specialist who focuses on real estate investment as well as corporate taxation, tax litigation and private management, Pierre regularly assists companies, company officers, funds and asset managers, both in France and abroad, with every stage of their projects, from structuring to completing the transaction, including tax management and post-merger integration. Pierre has particular experience in the tax structuring of regulated and unregulated real estate investment vehicles and financial modelling of the tax aspects.

Arnaud Guérin is a corporate partner helping clients choose and build all types of real estate investment vehicles, particularly for corporate investors, promoters, management companies and funds. He provides assistance with the legal structuring of their investment, obtaining all necessary authorizations (particularly from the AMF) and expanding portfolios. Arnaud has extensive experience in shareholders’ agreements, partnerships and share-deal acquisitions/sales.

Accompanying Pierre and Arnaud in their move to Kramer Levin are Tax counsel Samuel Drouin and Paméla Lejeune, Corporate counsel Chevais Guillaume, Tax associate Yacine Bousraf, Corporate associate Nadia Sandjon and law clerks Clarisse Legac, Corinne Dupé and Denis Hontang.
