Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that the firm is bolstering its European capabilities with the addition of François Millet as a partner in the firm’s Paris office. Millet joins Ogletree Deakins from Neo Avocats, where he was a founding partner.
“The arrival of François and his team is an excellent fit with the ongoing development of Ogletree Deakins’ Paris office. This new team’s expertise in branch negotiations and professional training enhances the unique nature of the comprehensive service we are able to provide to our employment law clients,” Cécile Martin, managing partner of the firm’s Paris office said.
“Cécile and I are delighted to welcome François, whose professional and personal qualities will be a perfect addition to our firm’s range of expertise. Exceptional performance, unfailing loyalty to our clients, perseverance, reactivity and the very strong team spirit that unites each member of our team are key factors in our firm’s success. The recognition of our clients allows us to envisage sustained growth in Paris in the coming years, and will help us fulfill our desire to become a key player in French employment law,” Jean-Marc Albiol, founding partner of the Paris office adds.
Millet has practiced employment law in Paris for nearly 20 years. He has substantial experience representing employers in restructuring matters—often involving mass redundancies—as well as mergers and acquisitions for international companies. He has also handled collective litigation matters, such as collective redundancies, the calculation method of the legal minimum wage, and more. Millet teaches courses in French employment law at Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He earned his Master 2 in civil law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and his lawyer’s degree from Paris Bar School (EFB).
