Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce the appointment of partner Brian Gordon in its Global Corporate Practice. He joins from Holman Fenwick Willan. Mr. Gordon’s appointment follows the recent arrival of Corporate partners Simon Adams and Caroline Brown from Holman Fenwick Willan to the Squire Patton Boggs Perth office.
Mr. Gordon, who was the former global head of Holman Fenwick Willan’s corporate practice, is a corporate, and public and private M&A, expert whose practice covers distressed debt and workouts, shipping, energy and natural resources. In addition Mr. Gordon is joined by senior associate Eviaty Jenie in the Corporate practice who will further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in public securities work, sovereign and corporate workouts and natural resources alongside the Commodities and Shipping Group.

He has known known several of our partners for many years, and previously collaborated on complex projects with corporate colleagues Simon Adams and Caroline Brown in Australia as well members of our global Commodities and Shipping Group.”
Mr. Gordon focuses on a broad range of corporate matters with expertise in shipping, mining, oil and gas, and clean energy, advising clients on major international transactions including cross-border M&A, joint ventures, corporate finance, and restructurings. He also has extensive capital markets experience, particularly in the UK, Australia and US markets, where he has advised on flotations, de-listings and takeovers. He is recommended in the Chambers & Partners Asia-Pacific and Global guides for international energy and natural resources and particularly mining. Mr. Gordon is the co-founder of the Singapore Mining Club and has served as a member of Holman Fenwick Willan’s Management Board and its Strategy Board.
