Clark Hill today announced that Kevin Watson has joined the firm as a Member in the Construction Law practice in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Mr. Watson joins the firm from Offit Kurman in Philadelphia.
“Kevin’s background is a great fit for the Philadelphia office, as well as our regional and national construction practice,” said Lauri Kavulich, Member-in-Charge of the Philadelphia and Wilmington offices of Clark Hill. “Given our strong client base in the region and nationally, Kevin’s extensive experience representing clients in complex construction issues will be a great addition to the team.”
Watson’s practice is focused on the litigation and resolution of complex construction, commercial, professional liability, intellectual property, products liability, and environmental matters. He has successfully represented domestic and international contractors, design professionals and project owners before various federal, state and international courts and arbitration panels. Watson’s expertise includes contract preparation and risk management for clients bidding or performing work on a variety of projects ranging from heavy industry, transit and pharmaceutical construction to commercial, educational and residential construction.

Watson earned a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and a B.S. in Civil and Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering.

Watson is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association, and is on the active roster of neutrals specializing in construction disputes. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Litigation, the Design Build Institute, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers, and the Engineers Club of Philadelphia. He is a past member of the American Institute of Architects and served on AIA Philadelphia’s practice management committee. Watson is also an Engineer-in-Training in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
