In joining Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Philadelphia office, Darius Gambino brings to the firm more than 20 years of experience helping clients protect their intellectual property under the patent, trademark and copyright laws in the United States and abroad. He joins the firm as a partner in the Litigation Practice and the IP Litigation Team. Gambino joins the firm from the Philadelphia office of DLA Piper.
Products and processes involving electrical and mechanical engineering are a major focus of Mr. Gambino’s patent practice, including work for clients in industries ranging from consumer goods and medical devices to video games and computer software. Mr. Gambino also assists clients with managing global patent and trademark portfolios and counsels them on enforcement strategies.

Mr. Gambino also represents clients in connection with intellectual property licensing, trade secret and copyright disputes, and corporate diligence investigations. Before earning his law degree, Mr. Gambino was a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Gambino has been recognized as “a very impressive trial lawyer”” by World Trademark Review, which has repeatedly listed him as a top litigator. He has also been repeatedly recognized by The Legal 500 for his work in the field of intellectual property licensing.
Mr. Gambino earned his J.D. from The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
