Leading insurance defense litigator Joel Max Eads joins global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as a shareholder in the Philadelphia office. Before joining the firm, Eads was a partner at Trenk, DiPasquale, Della Fera & Sodono, P.C.
Eads concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance coverage/bad faith litigation, frequently involving the representation of entities and their directors and officers in securities actions, unfair competition cases, business torts, contract actions, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, employment disputes and product liability matters.
“Joel has deep experience in commercial and insurance litigation, which is essential to the continuously growing needs of our litigation and corporate clients on a global scale,” said Michael L. Lehr, regional operating shareholder of Greenberg Traurig.

Eads has litigated cases in 13 states and 14 federal jurisdictions. He has a J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Dickinson College. He is a former board member of HelpUsAdopt.org and the Annual Fund Committee of The Shipley School.
