Klehr, Harrison, Harvey & Branzburg announced today that Jonathan Krause has joined the firm’s Labor & Employment and Litigation practices as a partner, resident in Philadelphia and Cherry Hill. Mr. Krause has over ten years experience representing clients in all aspects of employment law, with a particular emphasis on trade secret/non-compete, wage and hour, discrimination, and whistleblower matters. Mr. Krause litigates complex and single-plaintiff litigation in federal and state courts across the nation on behalf of both large and start-up clients across industries, including those in health care, financial services, retail, technology, and service. Mr. Krause had previously spent his career practicing employment law at Morgan Lewis.
“Jonathan is an excellent attorney with tremendous experience handling cutting edge employment litigation and delivering practical, creative solutions for clients,” said Michael Coran, co-chair of Klehr Harrison’s Litigation group. “His background in representing clients in key employee defections, wage and hour class actions, and sensitive discrimination claims is a great addition to our practice.”
During his time at Morgan Lewis, Mr. Krause also regularly advised clients on workforce issues independent of litigation, including conducting internal wage and hour audits, drafting compensation plans, implementing arbitration programs, and handling employee entrance, leave, and separation issues.
“We anticipate clients benefitting not just from Jonathan’s litigation experience but from his ability to partner with them to proactively address common employment pitfalls before they develop into claims. This element of Jonathan’s practice aligns nicely with the firm’s commitment to helping our clients achieve their business goals through sound advice and counsel,” said Charles Ercole, chair of Klehr’s Labor and Employment group.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Krause also serves on the Board of the Anti-Defamation League’s Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, where he chairs the International Affairs Committee and sits on the National Civil Rights Committee. Mr. Krause has been selected as a Rising Star each year from 2012 to 2014 by Super Lawyers magazine.
Mr. Krause earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his B.A from Amherst College.
