Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr Further Strengthens Philadelphia White Collar and Government Litigation Practice With Addition of Former Federal Prosecutor Justin C. Danilewitz

Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP today announced that Justin C. Danilewitz has joined the firm as a partner in the White Collar and Government Litigation Practice, resident in the Philadelphia, Pa. office.

Mr. Danilewitz joins the Firm from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey, where he represented the United States in federal court at all stages of various criminal trial proceedings. He draws upon this experience, as well as his previous defense of individuals and entities, to conduct internal investigations, zealously defend against civil and criminal enforcement actions, and respond to whistleblower complaints and qui tam suits. Mr. Danilewitz has particular experience in the areas of financial fraud, pharmaceutical offenses and internal investigations. During his time at the U.S. Attorney’s Office he tried several cases to verdict, including most recently, in the summer of 2017, the five-week trial of a pharmacist charged with illegally distributing oxycodone.

“Justin’s experience investigating and prosecuting complex criminal cases including financial fraud and pharmaceutical diversion, combined with his knowledge of the agencies regulating these industries, will strengthen our already strong team of former federal prosecutors,” said Christopher R. Mr. Danilewitz earned his M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University, where he was the recipient of the Alfred P. Rubin Prize in International Law; his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review; and his A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
