Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Scott Graham as an asset and corporate finance partner in the Pittsburgh office. Graham joins the firm from Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, reuniting him with a team of seven corporate and private equity partners that moved to K&L Gates’ Pittsburgh office in January. They are among 160 partners and of counsel the firm has added across its platform since the beginning of 2020.
Graham’s practice focuses on advising both borrowers and lenders on a variety of banking and finance matters. These include the acquisition, development, and leasing of space; private equity investments; the acquisition and sale of assets and stock; a range of commercial lending transactions; and leveraged, real estate, mezzanine, and working capital financings, among others.
“We are pleased to welcome Scott to our firm and to have him rejoin the group with which he previously worked closely,” commented K&L Gates’ Co-Managing Partner, United States, and Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office Thomas J. Smith. “His broad corporate and finance experience nicely complements the capabilities of both our office’s and the firm’s greater Finance teams.”
Stacy Ackermann, a leader of K&L Gates’ global Finance practice, stated: “With Scott’s addition, we continue to strengthen our firm’s Finance offerings across our platform. We are excited to have him as a part of our expanding Finance practice in the Pittsburgh office.”
