Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Deana A. Labriola and Jeremy “Jerry” R. Sayre in Raleigh as partners in the firm’s Corporate and Labor & Employment Departments, respectively.
Labriola and Sayre were previously with Ward and Smith, P.A., where Labriola most recently served as the Raleigh office’s geographic team leader and led the firm’s Technology Practice.

Labriola is an experienced corporate attorney who advises middle market companies inside and outside of North Carolina. She assists with corporate governance and transactions as well as business structuring, development and expansion opportunities. Labriola helps clients navigate all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financings for sellers, buyers, investors and borrowers. Active in the Triangle business community, she serves as outside general counsel to a number of closely held companies in the state. She earned her J.D. and M.A. from The Catholic University of America and her B.A. from the University of Indianapolis.
Sayre is a go-to advocate for companies facing federal and state employment matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, wrongful discharge and other work-related tort claims at the trial and appellate levels. He regularly negotiates complex employment agreements, litigates restrictive covenant matters and advises on hiring and termination practices, pay policies and practices, employee discipline, employee handbooks, drug testing, background checks and employee safety. He earned his J.D. from Ohio State University and his B.S. from John Carroll University.
