Cindy Summerfield is a Recruiting Director at Kinney Recruiting where she matches attorneys to opportunities throughout the US and Canada. Cindy has over 10 years of recruiting, hiring and performance management experience. Prior to joining Kinney, Cindy managed an IP team in Pfizer’s legal department and also handled numerous large transactions and high-stakes regulatory and litigation matters.

Her 25 year professional career also includes government, law firm, in-house and start-up founder experience. Candidates appreciate Cindy’s holistic approach to recruiting which includes a detailed understanding of clients’ hiring needs and culture as well as candidates’ near and long-term career goals to ensure optimal alignment of the two.

Cindy is an inventor, having developed an improved approach to reviewing trademark search results for which she was awarded US Patent No. US 10,5398,167 and Application No. 16/596,743. In her free time, Cindy is an avid golfer including a Pro/Am win and enjoys agility training with her two rescue dogs, Crosbie and Kipper.
