Law Firm Eversheds Bitāns has strengthened its Banking and Finance practice with new partner Girts Ruda. Girts will be co-heading the Banking and Finance group together with Maris Vainovskis, who has established the practice as one of major players in the Latvian finance sector.
Girts is joining Eversheds Bitāns from a leading regional law firm, where he was a partner for over 10 years. He has advised clients on major real estate deals in Latvia and the Baltics, with a portfolio of over EUR 300 mil. Ģirts has previously worked in-house at SEB and Swedbank.
