Nixon Peabody is expanding the firm’s corporate capabilities with the arrival of partner Tyler J. Savage. Tyler, who previously led Harter Secrest & Emery LLP’s Corporate/Transactional practice, has joined Nixon Peabody’s Rochester office, where he expects to continue to provide sophisticated transactional advice to the firm’s clients.
Tyler focuses his practice on corporate and commercial law with a concentration in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, securities and private equity transactions, as well as general corporate and contracting matters. He regularly advises U.S.–based and international clients in connection with acquisitions, corporate finance, securities and general corporate commercial law. Tyler also advises issuers with private placement transactions. His clients include construction materials companies, technology and software companies, manufacturing and industrial companies, media companies, and professional service providers. Tyler also has particular experience in the food and beverage industries and with representation of professional sports teams.

Tyler is an active member of the community. He sits on the board of Campus Auxiliary Services, Inc., State University of New York at Geneseo, and is a past board member of the Bivona Child Advocacy Center. Tyler is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Monroe County Bar Association. Tyler earned his B.A. from the State University of New York at Geneseo and his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law, J.D.
