Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that David J. Crapo has rejoined the firm’s Tax practice as a partner in the firm’s Salt Lake City office after serving a multi-year mission for his church. David has extensive litigation experience and has tried hundreds of state and local tax matters before administrative tribunals and state and federal courts throughout the United States.
“David’s knowledge of our firm, combined with the litigation experience he brings, makes his rejoining our tax practice a valuable strength to our firm and clients,” said Steve Young, Partner and leader of the firm’s State and Local Practice Group. “We welcome David back as a respected colleague and friend.”
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, David was a tax attorney at Crapo Smith PLLC. He is a frequent speaker on state and local tax issues. David is currently a member of the Utah Bar Association, Idaho Bar Association, American Property Tax Counsel, and was previously Chair of the Utah Tax Review Commission (appointed by Utah Governor Herbert).
David is admitted to practice before the Utah Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, the Idaho Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
