Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that Sam Gardiner has joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice group. Previously, Sam was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Salt Lake City and co-chair of its firmwide M&A practice group.
Sam Gardiner has devoted almost 20 years to advising his clients in a full range of transactional matters. His M&A experience includes counseling buyers and sellers in financial and strategic transactions involving public and private companies in a wide variety of industries. He also advises companies and investors in venture capital and other private equity financings, debt financings, registered public equity financings, PIPEs, recapitalizations, restructurings, and strategic partnering transactions. In the past decade, Sam has assisted clients in more than 100 mergers and acquisitions, financings, or similar transactions.
Sam also provides counsel on corporate governance, securities regulation, executive compensation and other compliance and commercial issues for clients ranging from public corporations to emerging private companies as well as boards of directors, institutional and individual investors, entrepreneurs and investment banks.
