Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Beni Surpin has joined the firm’s Technology Transactions & Outsourcing Practice as a partner in the San Diego office.
Surpin counsels international and domestic companies on business and legal issues surrounding technology, intellectual property and commercial transactions. His practice focuses on collaborations involving technology transfer between companies to enhance product lines and services through access to new technologies. His role includes setting strategic direction, structuring relationships and negotiating deals through technology licenses and acquisitions, manufacturing and distribution arrangements, service-based platforms and strategic partnerships and alliances.

Surpin also works with clients to maximize value and revenue from intellectual property and technology portfolios across a wide range of industries. His client base includes private and public companies doing business in the wireless, high-tech, health care, medical devices and life sciences sectors, among others.
