Jones Day Welcomes Lily Zhang to San Diego Office as Partner in Intellectual Property Practice

Lily Zhang has joined the Firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice. She will be based in the San Diego Office and arrives from Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C.

Ms. Zhang is a strategic counselor in a complex arena where biotechnology and computer science overlap. She develops patent portfolios for clients conducting R&D in artificial intelligence and machine learning, structural biology, drug discovery, cybersecurity and cryptography, medical technologies, network hardware and software, and electronic payment systems.

Ms. Zhang earned her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and computer science from U.C. Berkeley, and her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
