International law firm Sidley Austin hired Joshua Hill for a San Francisco legal job, according to a press release.
Hill, who has devoted the past four years of his professional pursuits to serving the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, comes aboard as a litigation partner. He joins the white collar, securities litigation and complex commercial litigation practice groups of the law firm.
“Josh is a strong litigator who has repeatedly proven his talent in the courtroom,” West Coast office leader Anne E. Rea with the Sidley Austin Management Committee said. “He is a great addition to our litigation practice and continues our ongoing expansion in Northern California.”
Hill stated that he views the law firm as a valuable opportunity to ease his return to private practice. The San Francisco office of the law firm also employs the former first assistant attorney for the Northern District of California.
Hill holds a law degree from Yale Law School, a Master of Arts in economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College.
