Leading law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today the addition of Labor & Employment partner Charles Thompson and senior counsel Nicole Bolson to the firm’s San Francisco office, bolstering the bench strength of the firm’s National Trial Team and robust West Coast presence. Both attorneys previously practiced at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, where Thompson was in charge of the San Francisco group and a vice chair of the firm’s L&E practice. He is also very active in the San Francisco legal community as a member of PLUS, the San Francisco Hotel Counsel and the IADC.
A seasoned trial attorney who has tried more than 25 cases to verdict, Thompson represents employers in all phases of employment litigation. Thompson’s practice includes single-plaintiff litigation, wage and hour class cases and severe tort cases, and he has tried general, commercial and liability cases to verdict and directed verdict. He also has a wealth of experience litigating Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment and wrongful termination matters for commercial clients and insurance companies.
Bolson has experience in all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, class action litigation and wage and hour claims. She regularly defends claims and charges against California employers before federal agencies and advises employers in work-related issues, including implementing policies and procedures, employee discipline, state and federal leave laws, terminations, lay-offs, and wage and hour matters.

Thompson received his B.S. from University of San Francisco and his J.D. from Golden Gate University, School of Law.
