Clark Hill PLC today announced the addition of Rob Neale as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Immigration Law practice in the San Francisco office. Neale’s practice will focus on representing clients in California, the Pacific Northwest and throughout the United States on immigration matters. Neale was formerly the Partner-in-charge of the Immigration practice at Garvey Schubert Barer in Seattle.

As a former in-house lawyer at Microsoft Corporation, Neale brings a unique perspective in understanding how a client’s internal immigration policies and practices can be used as a competitive advantage in hiring and retaining the best foreign talent. He represents industries, including software, design, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, insurance, fine arts, sports, international trade, and engineering in successfully managing their global workforces in line with business objectives.

Neale advises clients on all aspects of corporate immigration law, regulation, policy, and compliance, including nonimmigrant work visas, permanent residence, naturalization, family-based matters, and corporate restructuring. He advises employers on implementing comprehensive I-9 and E-Verify compliance programs and provides legal representation on government audits and administrative actions.
Neale earned a J.D. from the University Of Oregon School Of Law where he received an Environmental Law Certificate and earned a joint J.D. /M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. He earned a B.A. with High Honors from DeVry Institute of Technology.
Neale is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia as a Practitioner of Foreign Law, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the King County Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker before business and employer associations, including the Society for Human Resource Management, and has authored numerous articles and blogs.
