Robert J. Nolan has joined Duane Morris LLP as a partner in the firm’s Trial Practice Group in its San Francisco office. Prior to joining Duane Morris, Nolan was a partner at DLA Piper.

Sutro also noted that Duane Morris has added 23 attorneys over last 12 months in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
Nolan works with his clients to provide commonsense and practical legal advice to successfully resolve ongoing disputes and prevent future litigation. He represents companies in intellectual property and commercial disputes in the U.S. and abroad, with extensive experience in unfair competition and trade secret misappropriation litigation. He also represents companies in investigations brought by the SEC, DOJ and other governmental enforcement agencies and advises clients on compliance and remedial measures. He serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of OneJustice, a nonprofit legal services organization.

Nolan is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2004) and Tufts University (B.A., 1998).
