Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Laura Rupenian has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a member of the Global Finance and Private Equity Practice Groups, where she will focus on leveraged financings for private equity firms. Rupenian spent over a decade at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she was a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office, and, subsequently, she was a partner with Goodwin Procter LLP.

With over 15 years of experience, Rupenian has advised private equity firms, corporate borrowers and selected lending institutions on a wide variety of domestic and cross-border leveraged financings arrangements in connection with buyouts, recapitalizations and other corporate transactions.
She earned her LL.M. with honors from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2001 and her J.D. with honors from University of Buenos Aires.
