Cao to its Sacramento and San Francisco offices as a partner in the firm’s Corporate, Chinese Business & Litigation, and Real Estate & Land Use Practices. Ms. Cao brings to Lewis Brisbois more than 15 years of transactional experience, most recently as the general counsel for the Oceanwide Center. With a particular focus on managing securities and corporate finance, cross-border transactions, and real estate matters, Ms. Cao works with clients of all sizes across several industries. Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese, Ms. Cao also has significant experience assisting China-based companies with compliance, investments, financing, international licensing, and joint ventures.

Greenberg Traurig Expands California Real Estate Practice in San Francisco

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues the strategic expansion of its Real Estate Practice in Northern California with the addition of Jasmine Tzeng Martin as a shareholder in the firm’s San Francisco office. Martin joins the firm from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, reuniting with her former colleague Jacobus “Jack” D. Machalow who re-joined Greenberg Traurig in May as a shareholder.

King & Spalding Broadens FDA and Life Sciences Team with Addition of Three Partners

King & Spalding today announced that Dale Giali, Keri Borders and Michael Resch have joined as partners on its FDA and Life Sciences team. Giali and Borders will be based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, and Resch will be resident in the San Francisco office. Giali and Borders join from Mayer Brown, where they co-led the food and beverage practice, and they are reuniting with Resch, a former Mayer Brown partner who most recently served as general counsel at Amy’s Kitchen, a leader in the frozen food and soup categories.

Bonner, Emina Kwok, Patrick Maloney, and Scott Smithson to the firm’s nationally renowned Real Estate Practice. Bonner joins the San Francisco office from Allen Matkins, Kwok and Maloney will be based out of Chicago, and Smithson joins the team in St. Louis from Dentons.
